The Flint Metro League held it's annual All Academic breakfast at the Captain's Club in Grand Blanc on April 26th Congratulations to Ryen and Colleen on their recognition as Flint Metro League All Academic.

Algebra students were challenged to memorize the quadratic equation prior to the lesson where they were going to use it. To help with this, students competed in the "Quadratic Showdown" to see who could write the equation the fastest. For 3 days, the top 3 winners earned challenge points.

AP Art students have created artwork under a "Sustained Investigation", or theme of their choice, to follow for the entire school year. One studentss theme has been "Capturing the intricacy in little things that most people overlook." She has drawn much inspiration from nature and everyday living.

Sculpture students began the clay unit with Creature Pinch Pots.





Exploratory Art learned about color theory and color schemes. Students are now creating tessellation patterns utilizing the color scheme of their choice.

Aiden's theme has been "How I progressed as an individual through a period of isolation." Aiden's work touches on feelings and emotions before, during, and after the pandemic.
