Linden High School students "Unlocking Your Potential" with Pre-Apprenticeship Progam and partnership with Niles Industrial Coatings, LLC.
The LMS Art Club had an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the High School Art club and practice being active members of the Linden Community! Businesses in downtown Linden requested our help in decorating their storefronts before the Holiday Parade! Students used paint to create fun and festive designs on the windows of 3 businesses on West Broad Street, ACE Hardware, H20 Restoration LLC, and Total Wellness Chiropractic. The LMS Art Club extends it's thanks to these businesses for their participation! Our students wouldn't have had this opportunity without your support! Also, HUGE shout out to the parent volunteers, who were amazing and helped make sure the event went smoothly.
Lastly, thank you to our ART CLUB members who decided to brave the cold to participate in this event! We had an excellent turn out, and all of our students worked SO well together! We are proud of the work they have done, and We are excited for the projects to come!
LCS Update on after-school activities for today, Thursday, Dec. 5.
All Middle School activities and events have been canceled.
The boys' freshman and junior varsity basketball games will be played at the MPB at their scheduled times.
Varsity and sub-varsity coaches will be in contact with their players about practices.
The Multip purpose building is open.
Linden GymStars Gymnastics will proceed as scheduled.
The Faculty Follies will proceed this evening with their regular scheduled shows at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

The LMS Art club has partnered with the University of Michigan-Flint's Pre-Med Student organization to provide some Holiday Cheer to the patients at Hurley Hospital in Flint! All of our students contributed beautiful cards and envelopes to go with them!

We celebrated World Kindness Day at LMS today. SOAR Leaders offered Kindness by plastering our lockers with kind sticky notes 😊🦅❤️
The LMS Art Club has finished their first project! Both teams worked on painting the stools in the art room, to make the space more colorful! Photo limit won't let me show off all of them unfortunately, but EVERYONE did a excellent job!
I am very excited to continue doing fun and engaging projects with the art club!

Learning going on in Mrs. Schultz's Algebra class on Homecoming Friday!
We have been made aware that the City of Linden is having water issues. Water to all of our buildings comes from the city water source. We have notified LCS buildings to shut down drinking fountains and our kitchens are boiling water prior to using it. We are in the process of purchasing bottled water for emergency purposes.
Unfortunately, the information we currently have is minimal but we wanted to take some proactive steps to reduce any concerns.
Our water can still be used to wash hands and using the restrooms.
As more information becomes available, we will let you know.
