Due to the inclement weather forecast for May 22nd, Linden Elementary's SOAR Day has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 29th. 9:30 - 11:00 for 2nd and 3rd grade; 12:55 - 2:25 for Y5, Kdg., and 1st grade. 2:25 Tug of War.
Mrs. Mawhinney's class went to Symphony Assisted Living to brighten the residence day by delivering fabric bunnies made and provided by Linden Pay it Forward.

Many thanks to members of our Linden community and government for visiting Linden El today to support our Box City initiative! Students were excited to learn more about Linden's history and acquire a few suggestions for planning their own city.

Mrs. McConiha's class created cards for deployed troops today. Thank you Linden Pay It Forward, for providing the materials and delivery!
Mrs. Mawhinney's class has been learning about American symbols. We worked as a table to create our own table flags and we learned about the voting process, so we had a poll to vote for duck or Farmer Brown for president. We are enjoying our fun Social Studies unit.
Mrs. Mawhinney's class had the therapy dog, Jarvis, come visit us. We have also been having many wonderful mystery readers throughout March is Reading month.
