This morning we did story retell puppets for the fun story, “Room on the Broom.” We also talked about character traits.

Today we were able to share our writing pieces with a partner. We read our stories and shared what job we would want to have to contribute to our community!!

Mrs. Makaravage and Mrs. Krueger came in to spin our wheel of spelling words! We wrote our words in a ghost picture!

Mrs. Phifer’s class using pop it’s to practice their spelling words.

Each students drew a picture. Then they took a museum walk around the room to write what they thought their friends drew. Did your friend have the same perspective? Positivity Project- Perspective

Practicing counting on in Mrs. Gilardone’s Kindergarten class this morning!

These Kinders learned a new game called Sight Word Concentration, a fun way to learn and practice their weekly words!

HUGE thank you to our families for donating to Caring For Classrooms! We were able to buy 3 new wobble chairs for flexible seating!!!

This week we researched bats. Today we took our learning out to demonstrate how echolocation works. With a partner, one student was the bat, and the other was the “food.” The bat would send/ yell their nose or sound to their partner like a sound wave as the food would send it back just like a sound wave bouncing off objects for bats to know where and how to find their food!! We had a blast!!!

For math workshop today, we had 3 activities going on: high low card game with a partner, tic tac toe on the smart board, or “one more” pumpkin roll and color game.

Huge thank you to Mrs. Fowler for teaching us how to play a treasure game during math workshop!! She is the BEST!!!

My students made me feel extra special today on my birthday. Card making craze!
